Republic of Vietnam Officer's Field Cap

Dated: 1960-70s

Description: Green cotton heavily startched cap, reinforced lining, private tailor made. This Major's cap is an example of the better quality of uniform worn by officers. Bearing the label of a Saigon Tailor, this cap is made of a sturdier (presumably imported) material, and has been heavily startched to accentuate it's shape.

Major Pham Van Hong and family upon return from Chinese captivity, 1974.
