Description: US made M1 steel helmet with ARVN Camouflage cover. Made from the same material design as "Ranger" pattern camouflage, helmets with these camouflage covers were used by many branches of the Republic of Vietnam Armed Forces, but most predominantly Rangers, Airborne, and Marines. The piece pictured here shows a matching cover and helmet. The cover has signs of field repairs and obvious wear. The scuff marks on the cover directly coincide with marks and discolorations on the helmet.
