Republic of Vietnam Senior Officer Brown Visor Cap

Dated:1960s-1970s

Description: Green-Brown material, Late 1960s-70s version officer badge, bullion embroidery. A cap, like this, would have been worn by an officer with a rank of major or higher. Senior officer rank was denoted by the addition of bullion on the visor brim. General ranks also wore caps like this, but usually added a similarly embroidered chinstrap-band as well. This particular cap is identified as having belonged to a major.
