Description: Reinforced shoulders and elbows, 2 pockets, lightweight fabric. This is the lightweight version of RVN "Ranger" pattern. These lightweight versions were issued/manufactured in much less numbers than the standard heavyweight. As with the heavyweight pattern, examples can be seen in use throughout all branches of the ARVN - though the pattern is more closely associated with Vietnamese rangers. This lightweight camouflage can be seen mostly in use in the late 1960s, appearing less often by 1975.
