Dated: 1960-70s
Description: National Police Camouflage, 4 pocket jacket. Patterned roughly after United States military field jacket designs, field jackets in National Police camouflage began to be issued to servicemen of that branch in the late 1960s. Just as the National Police's camouflage was unique among those used in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Vietnam, these jackets were also specific to the branch. The National Police camouflage jacket was the only jacket of this pattern in camouflage standardly issued. Tailor made examples of similar jackets in different camouflage patterns can be seen, but mostly only on an individual or a small unit basis.
